I use the battery on 2 boats for trolling motors. I have found an increase of speed, 1.8 to 2.2 mph per GPS. It defiantly has a longer staying power. After 3 - 4 hour of steady usage I was still at 80%. The weight is defiantly a plus, 20 lbs vs 65 lbs, especially in my canoe. I will be looking at a starting battery when my old batteries start to get old.
