FAQ
Q: Are Redodo LiFePO4 200Ah Lithium batteries safe?
Yes, LiFePO4 is an exceptionally safe and stable lithium battery chemistry on the market. Redodo lithium cells are UL certified, adhering to the highest safety and sustainability standards. Every Redodo 200Ah LiFePO4 battery is equipped with an internal Battery Management System (BMS) that offers comprehensive protection against under-voltage during discharge, over-voltage during charge, over-current during discharge, over-temperature during both charge and discharge, and short circuits. This system safeguards the battery cells from damage. Furthermore, Redodo 12V 200Ah LiFePO4 batteries have been rigorously tested to ensure they are free from fire and electric shock risks, even in harsh environments.
Q: Can I use the 200 amp hour lithium battery as starting battery?
No, the Redodo 12V 200Ah lithium ion battery is designed for energy storage and is not suitable for use as a starting battery. Please do not use them to start any devices.
For further details, please consult the "Deep Cycle VS Starting Battery" article.
Q: How long will a 12V 200Ah battery last?
Run Time (hours) = Battery Capacity (Ah) / Current (A)
The higher the discharge rate (amount of current/amps being drawn from the battery), the shorter the duration it will last.
For example:
A 200Ah lithium battery discharging at a rate of 10A could theoretically last about 20 hours. However, if discharging at 50A, it would only last approximately 4 hours.
Q: What's the difference between Redodo 12V 200Ah LiFePO4 battery and 200Ah Plus?
The BMS (Battery Management System) boards vary between the batteries. The 12V 200Ah LiFePO4 battery is equipped with a 100A BMS, allowing a maximum continuous charge/discharge current of 100A. In contrast, the LiFePO4 200Ah Plus version has a 200A BMS, which supports a maximum continuous charge/discharge current of 200A.
Q: How do I store Redodo LiFePO4 200Ah lithium batteries?
It is recommended to store Redodo LiFePO4 batteries at a 50% state of charge (SOC). If the batteries are to be stored for extended periods, ensure they are cycled at least once every 6 months. Recommended storage environment: 10℃~35℃ (50℉~95℉), 45%RH~75%RH.
