Why do I think this is the best solution for our motorhomes?
1. Very light weight: The Redodo 200ah Plus battery weighs only 20.68 kg – ideal for us campers who always take care not to exceed the legally permitted weight!
2. Large storage capacity: With its 200ah, it can fully meet the needs of most motorhome owners, even considering that for the same capacity of an AGM battery, you would need four of them and a battery bank weighing about 120kg to achieve the same amperage!
3. Safety: This battery offers a high level of safety thanks to the integrated 200a BMS, which intervenes immediately in the event of overcharging, overdischarging, overcurrent, short circuits, and overheating, making the battery safer and longer-lasting.
4. Fast charging: The fact that they can be charged up to 10 times faster makes this battery ideal for campers who need to take short breaks at rest areas with a power connection and then continue their journey as quickly as possible with 100% charged batteries.
5. Long service life: Another major advantage of LiFePO4 batteries over conventional lead/AGM batteries is that we don't have to worry about replacing our service batteries every three months. LiFePO4 batteries, when properly charged and discharged, can guarantee up to 15,000 charge cycles and last up to 10 years. Redodo gives us a 5-year warranty!
High Load Capacity
In my tests, I put the battery through its paces by simultaneously connecting large loads such as an espresso machine (approx. 500 W), a hairdryer (approx. 1200 W), and a refrigerator (approx. 80 W). The battery passed the tests with flying colors and showed no signs of overheating or voltage drop, which speaks volumes about the quality of the A-cells inside.

Installation in the Motorhome
How do I install it in the motorhome?

A few brief prerequisites:
The appliances in our motorhomes accept the power provided by LiFePO4 without any problems. In fact, everything works even better when you consider that the operating voltage of lithium batteries is around 13.2 volts, making your appliances even more efficient. This is only possible if you make the right changes to your system, as LiFePO4 batteries require a different charging curve than conventional lead-acid batteries.
Before Installation
To ensure optimal battery performance and thus a longer service life, I recommend fully charging the battery immediately upon receipt and storing it between 30 and 50% of its full capacity when not in use for extended periods. LiFePO4 batteries do not like to be constantly charged to 100%. Another tip I'd like to give you is to schedule your charging process so that it stops at around 85% to keep your lithium battery healthy.

Final Thoughts
Once again, a Redodo product has fully met my expectations. I'm really excited about these products because they offer incredible quality at an affordable price. I hope to introduce you to more products in the range soon and show you how the entire system works with the same Redodo ecosystem.
