Upgrade My Houseboat Solar with Redodo 100Ah Bluetooth LiFePO4 & Inverter

Hi, I'm Harold (Pops) with Boondocking CajunStyle, sharing my story and experience with the Redodo products.

I first came across Redodo over a year ago, I was sent one of their 100AH Bluetooth batteries to try. Right off I could see that this battery was much better than the lifepo4 batteries I was using. After doing some research and trying the battery, it didn't take long for me to contact Redodo.

I was so impressed and happy with the Redodo LifePo4 Bluetooth battery that I purchased 3 more of these batteries, to replace what I was using for my solar storage on our houseboat. These batteries are rated for many thousands of cycles, and so far as to date, batter #1 is on cycle life 28, battery #2 cycle life 131, battery #3 cycle life 126 and battery #4 cycle life 127. The batteries are very easy to monitor with the use of Bluetooth.

With just a tap on my phone, I can see charging or discharging with the time to charge or the time to discharge. How much power in watts that is going into or out of the battery, alone with the current, voltage, AH capacity, battery temp, if the cells are balanced, overheating, too cold, can also turn the battery on and off by Bluetooth. Most impressive with these batteries is the fact that they are rated at 100AH and you get 102 to 104+AH. I have not had any issues with these Redodo batteries; they work just as stated plus some.

With using these batteries for well over a year, I decided to replace the pure sine wave 3500watt inverter that I had been using with the Redodo 3000watt inverter/45amp charger. After I replaced the inverter with the Redodo inverter, I quickly realized the inverter that I was using was giving dirty electricity and was not delivering the 3500watts of power that it claimed. The Redodo inverter/charger also replaced a 65amp charger. The Redodo inverter/charger produced very clean and powerful electricity.

The 3000W inverter charger has a remote-control station that can be mounted in a different location for when the unit is in a location that access is difficult to get to. On the remote, everything can be controlled and the remote shows exactly what is happening. This inverter charger has an automatic switch that recognizes shore power and battery power. If shore power is available, it will automatically turn the inverter off and the charger on or if shore power is lost, the unit will automatically turn the charger off and the inverter on. This happens so fast that it is not noticed. The inverter/charger is a beautiful unit that works extremely well.

I have been extremely happy with the batteries and the inverter, to the point that I decided to replace the 2@ 60amp solar charge controllers with 2 of the Redodo 40amp MPPT charge controller. These controllers also work by Bluetooth, with their own app. This was a major upgrade, even though the charge controllers were rated less the other controllers the Redodo out preformed them by a long shot. The app monitors Battery SOC the PV input, voltage and status. The Battery bank and DC load, current amps voltage and watts of power. Shows all of the daily data, high and low volt (0V), charge/discharge amount (OWH), with other real time monitoring.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with all of my Redodo products, everything runs extremely smooth, now that I'm have Redodo. I really did not realize just how much the other units were under performance. Everything on my houseboat is powered by Redodo, I don't have any problems running a Mini Split AC/Heater, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, all of my lights and water pumps. Everything was very easy to install, everything had its own well written manual. The directions were very easy to follow, and most of all their customer support is fantastic, they were very fast replying to any and all of my questions about their products.

All in my opinion top of the line equipment at very fair pricing. And every one of their products will do exactly what they are rated at plus some. I have used many different tools equipment and products from many companies and Redodo products are not over rated like some of the others. Redodo is the Way to Go. I also have their flag and their picnic table cover and both are very well made of high-quality material.

If you are looking for LifePO4 batteries, many many to pick and choose from, chargers, inverters, and other solar equipment all at fair pricing then Redodo is just what the Doctor ordered.
